Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions. Straight answers.
Does Enhance sign a Confidentiality or Nondisclosure Agreement?
Yes, disclosing your invention to Enhance is always 100% confidential. We understand that you want to be comfortable and take the proper precautions with your inventions and are glad to accommodate. You can view our standard Confidentiality/Nondisclosure Agreement by clicking here.
Does my invention need to be patented before I submit it to you?
No, we work with inventions at all levels of development. Further, since we sign the confidentiality/nondisclosure agreement, it is not considered a public disclosure, nor will we disclose it outside our firm.
Will Enhance pay me for my invention?
Enhance is a full-service product development firm and marketing/licensing agency, not a venture capitalist. Consequently, we do not buy inventions from inventors. That said, for our clients who utilize our services, we seek to commercialize their inventions most often through licensing, which can ultimately result in our clients getting paid for their inventions.
Do you work with clients outside of Minnesota?
Yes we do! We have clients all over the US and Canada, as well as many countries throughout the world — most notably Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
I would prefer to meet face to face, can I come to your office to meet?
Yes, please do! We love it when our clients come in to meet with our staff at our office. When that happens we try to include several folks from our staff to go over various components of working with Enhance, most notably design and licensing. If you sign up that day, we’ll even include you in the initial “whiteboarding” and “ideation” phases with our design team!
I'm an inventor and I have lots of questions about licensing...can you help me?
Absolutely! Because there are so many questions about licensing and our process, we developed a separate licensing section to answer your questions. Click here to learn more.
