How It Works
The MITS™ System transforms physical product movement into real-time business intelligence using proprietary movement-to-sale logic.
In practice, the MITS™ device will be physically and logically located at the Point of Sale (POS) and housed in a centralized location that monitors the entirety of the store.
By continuously monitoring tagged items within a defined read zone, MITS™ automatically detects when products leave the retail space and interprets that movement as a sale or a security event.
System Flow:
> Item Is Tagged – Each product is fitted with a passive non-peelable UHF RFID tag encoded into the system.
> Movement Crosses Defined Boundary – When an item moves beyond the configured read radius, the system detects the event instantly.
> Action Is Interpreted – The MITS™ System will determine it as a valid sale and automatically update the inventory with an estimated total sale. When the tag is removed or tampered with, MITS™ System will also count it as a sale.
> Data Updates in Real Time – Inventory levels, sales totals, and alerts are updated immediately, without staff input or manual reconciliation.
