Touchscreen Display
The FAST CART system combines an interactive touchscreen built directly into the device with a companion mobile app, creating a fully connected shopping experience.
Customers begin by securely linking their payment method, either through a registered FAST CART digital ID or by scanning a bank card.
From there, the cart’s display provides a simple, intuitive interface for scanning items, tracking spending in real time, and navigating the store with built-in guidance.
Theft Protection
Cart Control & Exit System
FAST CART enhances theft prevention by ensuring that every item placed in the cart is properly scanned before checkout.
An integrated weight-based sensor system detects when items are added without being scanned. If this occurs, the system pauses further scanning and restricts cart movement, preventing the customer from continuing through the store or toward the exit.
This smart wheel-locking mechanism ensures that only authorized, fully scanned shopping sessions can proceed, eliminating opportunities for unaccounted items and reducing shrink before customers ever reach checkout.
At the store exit, a sensor-enabled turnstile verifies that payment has been successfully completed before allowing customers to leave. If payment has not been processed, the gate remains locked and alerts can be triggered.
Working together, the cart’s scanning validation system and the exit control ensure that all items are accounted for prior to payment, creating a seamless yet secure checkout experience that protects inventory without disrupting the customer journey.
